Week of 9/24 – See you at the Pole – late start and Picture Day

Your children finished our three test week very well!  They truly studied smart.  Thank you for your encouragement.  We saw much growth this week.  Rest well this weekend (if you can).

Remember Late Start on Wednesday.  See You at the Pole is awesome experience of prayer led by our 8th graders.

Picture Day on Thursday!  Class and individual.  Please see info that school sent or sending.

We will see our kindergarten partners on Tuesday morning this upcoming week also.

Administrators have asked that we remind students to fill in their planners.  And that we should also continue to be consistent with first time obedience.

Have an awesome weekend!  Kay

From Mr. Hudson…

Math – We will be working on Lessons 21-25 next week. We will not have a test until the week of October 1. The students really seemed to enjoy our review game, TGT.  You will have to ask your child how their team did! I will return math tests on Monday for students to make corrections.  I normally file the tests, but you are welcome to go over the test with your child and he/she can bring the test back to me the following day.

Science – I will return science tests on Monday as well so that we can go over them as a class. We will begin our study of atoms, molecules, and the periodic table!  (Chapter 3)  I am planning to give a quiz over our notes on atoms and molecules later in the week (either Thursday or Friday).  Also, look for the “Elements are Punny” worksheet as students can get same parent help😊

Narration for science will be on Monday and Wednesday nights.
