Last week’s Veteran’s Day Service was once again…outstanding! Thank you 6th grade parents for your support as hosts.
Language Arts:
Monday – finish Tom Sawyer (Chapter 34) – start literacy notes Tuesday – continue literacy notes for Tom Sawyer Wednesday – review for Tom Sawyer Test Thursday – Tom Sawyer test! Service Projects on Friday – ½ day!
History:
We will be learning about FDR and his famous fireside chats as well as getting a good understanding of the role of the Tennessee Valley Authority.
Math:
We will press on with our study of Lessons 43 and 44 as well as taking a day to play our review game, TGT! Our next test will be on Thursday, Nov. 15 and it will cover Lessons 1-40.
Science:
We will continue to study fossils. Also, we will be having a quiz on Tuesday that will cover Chapter 11, sections 1-4. We have been taking notes over those sections as well as completing a lab get a better understanding.

Friday’s Service Project is a Beaver Ridge Elementary where we will be reading and doing art project with Kindergarten and 1st grade students. Lisa Veil has planned an amazing experience. Students should wear e-day shirts and khaki’s and are welcome to bring a snack for the car.
