The children seemed to be impacted by the Right to Life walk on Tuesday. There was much discussion on Wednesday about the many details of this experience. Thank you for your support in this.
We continue to be on the LEADER Board for the National Reading Championship that will be awarded on Super Bowl Sunday. As of the first two “Quarters” we are tied for 1st place. We are going for it the week of January 28! I’ll be providing breakfast for Hudson and Lee students that will start reading at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.
Language Arts:
- Complete “The Hiding Place” and begin quote project in class.
History:
- Page 8 of the World War II booklet is DUE on Wednesday. Page 9 and the entire booklet is DUE on Friday.
Math:
- No math test this week. We will be studying Lessons 69-71 and completing Investigation 7 at the end of the week
Science:
- We will continue our study of the oceans…Chapter 13. Students will be completing a lab to help understand the process of desalinization. Also, students will be taking a quiz over the vocabulary in Chapter 13 on Friday.
