Pics from Arts Festival 2019!
Hi Parents! Thanks to girls that attended our Girls Night Out auction fundraiser last night. It was much fun with lots of girl talk and laughter. We appreciate your support for our school.
After last week’s rich but busy week with with Art Festivals and 1960s day, this week is relatively normal except for our Camp Highland info meetings on Monday night. Chaperones should attend an info meeting in Mr. DeMaris’s classroom at 6:30 p.m. and then we will meet as Lee HR in my classroom at 7:30 p.m. You received an email that has liability forms for children and liability forms for adults – please print and bring if possible on Monday night. Yes, all chaperones will need a liability form also.
Tuesday – Meet with our partner class – read children’s book The Seven Chinese Brothers and then Nathan and Henry sharing with class about how to eat with chopsticks and even write in Chinese.
Friday – no school – Good Friday. Have a blessed Easter.
This week:
Language Arts – we will continue daily grammar lessons and continue our choice book. Students should try to be finished with book by this Friday. I have moved the due date for puzzle piece book reports to Thursday, April 25th.
History – we will finish notes on 1960s and 70s tomorrow and review on Tuesday and Wednesday. I am resending Quizlet link for History by text. The test will be Thursday.
Math – continue lessons 101-104.
Science – Continue notes over space and space exploration – quiz over terms on Wednesday.
Upcoming:
April 23rd – MLK and Jimmy Carter field trip. Casual enrichment.
