Excited to be Together Again!

Dear 6th grade Lee Homeroom Class of 2020-21,

I will be your homeroom/POD teacher and I can honestly say (after many years of teaching) …. that I have never been so excited to start the school year!   This will be a year of great growth and HOPE and I am thrilled to be with you and your awesome families.

Mrs. Ericson, our awesome Bridge teacher, and our 5th teacher on the team will serve us well.

I began praying for you by name as soon as I received our class list and will continue throughout the school year.  We can add our homeroom pic to the top of this blog the first week of school.

I have many details to share and will answer any questions.

You will be in my classroom first thing each morning for homeroom and BIBLE.

Our 6th grade teacher team includes Mrs. McClesky (math), Mr. Hudson (earth science) Mr. DeMaris (history), Mrs. Ericson (Bridge) and I will be your language arts teacher.   Yes, you will have different teachers for various subjects but we are all teaching in our area of degree and certification which means we LOVE our subject and can’t wait to share with you!  As you have probably heard, the first nine weeks the teachers will move from room to room.

Caroline Gile’s parents will be our room parents this year.  They are the warm, wonderful and fun….and have already had a daughter go through middle school at Perimeter.

The Giles are planning a class get together for Thursday, August 6th at their house.  They have a lot of outdoor space so we can social distance – 9480 Riverclub Parkway, Duluth. This is the subdivision directly across from the school.    We will be outdoors.

  • A little bit about me – born and raised in Atlanta, my greatest joys are…being wife to Britt, married 29 years as of  August 3rd!     and mom to…
  • Annie, 25, lives in Birmingham, Alabama – works in music at Advent Birmingham Church
  • Katherine, 21, senior at the University of Georgia
  • Jack and Brittain, twins, 18, seniors, ½ days at JCHS and ½ day on tennis courts
  • All of my children went to PCS and what a difference it made for our family!
  • I love reading, spending time with family, walking, fixer upper projects, watching tennis, my dog Chipper and TEACHING you!

See you very soon!
