Welcome to 6th grade!

Dear 6th grade Lee Homeroom Class of 2021-22,

I will be your homeroom teacher this year and I can honestly say (after many years of teaching) …. that I have never looked forward to a school year as much as I do this upcoming year.

I began praying for you by name as soon as I received our class list and will continue throughout the school year.  We can add our homeroom pic to the top of this blog the first week of school.

I have many details to share and will answer any questions.

You will be in my classroom first thing each morning for homeroom. Our 6th grade teacher team includes Ms. Williams (math), Mr. Hudson (earth science) Mr. DeMaris (history), Mrs. Ericson (Bridge) and I will be your language arts teacher.   Yes, you will have different teachers for various subjects but we are all teaching in our area of degree and certification which means we LOVE our subject and can’t wait to share with you! And yes….you will change classes this year and have many new and exciting options!

As you know, Aubrie and Andy Crais, Whit’s parents, will be our awesome room parents this year.  I met with Mrs. Crais on Wednesday and talked about some of the exciting things that will happen in 6th grade this year.

The Crais have planned a Lee HR class get together on Tuesday night, August 10th, at 7 p.m. at Andy’s Frozen Custard – 3670 Old Milton Pkwy. Alpharetta, GA 30005!

We look forward to this year with your amazing families.

  • A little bit about me – born and raised in Atlanta, my greatest joys are…being wife to Britt, married 30 years as of August 3rd!     and mom to…
  • Annie, 26, just moved back to Atlanta after being in Birmingham for 7 years, works at Passion City Church
  • Katherine, 22, 2021 UGA grad that starts graduate school the same day we start school
  • Jack and Brittain, twins, 19, freshmen in college- Brittain will be attending UNG, Oconee Campus (and living in Athens with many of his Perimeter buddies). Jack is pursuing his dream of being a collegiate athlete and playing tennis at Kennesaw State.
  • All of my children went to PCS and what a difference it made for our family!
  • I love reading, spending time with family, walking, house projects, watching tennis, my dog Chipper and TEACHING you!

See you very soon!

Mrs. Lee
