Please sign up for a conference time using the link that Shannon Edmondson sent on Thursday. If a teacher’s time slots are full, I encourage you to meet with another teacher. It’s insightful to get another teacher’s perspective of how your child is doing.

Please read through the following and note the important information about our field trip next Friday, January 29th to Roosevelt’s Little White House. If you have questions, please email or text me.

Week of December 6th-10th

a letter from Mrs. McCleskey about her maternity leave January-March.

Hello, all!

December is upon us, which means Christmas break is near. It’s hard to believe that we’re reaching the halfway point in our school year! I wanted to update you all on my plans for maternity leave and what it will look like. We have secured a substitute who will be teaching your students math from January 5th to March 26th (12 weeks). Her name is Dawn Landgraf and she has many years of experience teaching math to middle school and high school students. She also previously taught math at Perimeter Christian School. Finding her is such an answered prayer as there are not too many substitutes right now willing to jump into the classroom in the midst of such strange times.

I will be working with Dawn over the next two weeks to make sure she is ready to jump into this role come January. She will spend a day or two in the classroom observing to a get a better feel for it, as well. As a new teacher comes in to take my place for some time, we will ensure that the students’ daily schedules and routines that we have established will not drastically change. We are all working together for the betterment of your children and their academic and spiritual growth!

Please direct any questions you may have to me. My email is amccleskey@perimeter.org. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

Blessings,

Anna McCleskey
